Welcome

Welcome to The Tumbleweeds Painters Group.  We are eleven professional women artists, led by abstract expressionist Karen Weihs, who joined together after a painting workshop in the Arizona desert a few years ago.  Though we are spread out geographically, we get together as often as possible to paint, network, share critiques and ideas and, of course, drink good wine.

We hope you’ll subscribe to our website–it will be changing regularly as each artist updates her page with new work and news.  It’s an easy way to follow your favorite artists, and also provides pertinent links to our other websites, information about workshops and classes we teach, our plein air painting events, and our Tumbleweeds Painting Exhibitions.  So stay tuned…and we hope you’ll visit regularly.
