My name is Blanche Quinn, and I now live in Columbia, SouthCarolina. I have always enjoyed drawing, painting and crafts.I grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina with a wonderful art department at my high school. Then I attended Converse College, majoring in Fine Arts. After two years I transferred to the University of South Carolina and received my Bachelor of Arts, with emphasis in Commercial Art. For 13 years, two friends and I were party designers and interior decorators. After that, I was the graphic designer for MW Magazine, a local women’s magazine. Since the early 1990’s I have devoted my time to oil painting, and am represented by Gregg Irby Fine Art in Atlanta ,GA.
